SMALL SORES BALM

Thanks to this balm, small sores will be a distant memory.   

 

Materials List


 

  • Two Blue Glass Jars 60 ml - White Lid
  •  A saucepan 
  •  A tablespoon 
  •  A bowl 
  •  A fork or whisk

 

 

Ingredients


 

  • 2 tbsp (30ml) Shea butter (nourishes and stimulates skin regeneration)
  • 2 wafers (30 gr) Cocoa butter (nourishes and maintains the skin's moisture barrier)
  • A 30ml bottle of Calendula oil (macerate) (relieves inflammation and skin irritation)
  • 1/4 tsp (1.25ml) Vanilla Bourbon Extract (improves hydration)

 

Preparation and instructions for use


 

  •  Melt the Cocoa butter wafers and the Shea butter in a double boiler (use the bowl and saucepan)
  • Note: The microwave is not recommended. 
  •  When the butters have cooled, add the Calendula oil (macerate)
  •  Homogenize well using a whisk or a blender. 
  •  Lastly, add the Vanilla Bourbon extract and mix well. 
  •  Pour into the glass jars. 
  •  Refrigerate immediately so that the balm solidifies. (About 30 minutes)  
  •  Put the equivalent of a hazelnut in the palm of your hand and rub your hands together to warm up the balm, then massage onto skin.  

 

Apply several times a day by massaging onto well-cleansed skin.   

 

Makes 2 jars of 60ml   

 

 

Precautions & recommendations


 

Store in a cool, dark place away from light.
