CEASAR SALAD DRESSING (4 FLAVOURS)

A delicious salad dressing base with four scumptious flavour options, for quick & easy to make healthy meals that everyone will enjoy!

 

Materials List


 

  •  A bowl
  •  A whisk
  •  A garlic press
  •  Measuring cups and spoons

 

Ingredients


 

  •  2 garlic cloves, crushed
  •  1 tbsp of Dijon mustard (or less, to your taste)
  •  1 egg yolk
  •  ¼ cup of red wine vinegar (or less for a thicker texture
  •  ¾ cup of olive oil
  •  Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Essential oils of your choice (refer to Preparation)

 

Preparation


 

  •  Crush the garlic cloves in the bowl.
  •  Add the Dijon mustard, the egg yolk and the red wine vinegar, then whisk.
  •  Slowly add the olive oil while thoroughly whisking.
  •  Add salt & pepper.

 

DILL FLAVOUR:

  •  Add 8 to 10 drops of Dill essential oil, whisk well.
  •  Serving suggestions : with chick peas & bocconcini cheese, or with nordic shrimps & mesclun.

 

LEMON FLAVOUR:

  •  Add 10 to 15 drops of Lemon essential oil, whisk well.
  •  Serving suggestions : with romaine lettuce, grilled prosciutto, parmesan, bread croutons & capers.

 

GINGER FLAVOUR:

  •  Add 15 to 20 drops of Ginger essential oil, whisk well.
  • Serving suggestions : with carrot salad, shallots, dried cranberries and sesame seeds.

 

ORANGE FLAVOUR:

  •  Add 15 to 20 drops os Sweet Orange essential oil, whisk well.
  •  Serving suggestions : with spinach, pomegranate, clementines & Grenoble walnuts.

 

Precautions & recommendations


 

  •  Always start the recipe with the minimum suggested essential oil quantity, then add one drop at a time until the desired taste is achieved.
  •  Keep refrigerated.
  •  Ready in less than 10 minutes.
  •  Gives about 1 ½ cup.
