Anise Star essential oil is used in aromatherapy as an antispasmodic to relieve colic, indigestion, bloating and abdominal cramps.
Organic and Chemotyped essential oil, 100% pure, natural and authentic.
Topical (Adults) Mix 1 to 2 drops in 1 teaspoon (5ml) of vegetable oil; apply to abdomen 3 times per day.
FOR EXTERNAL AND OCCASIONAL USE ONLY. DO NOT TAKE ORALLY. DO NOT USE ESSENTIAL OILS UNDILUTED. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. If accidental ingestion occurs, seek urgent medical attention or contact a Poison Control Center. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; if this happens, rinse thoroughly with vegetable oil. Anise - Star, or Badiane, was discovered by Marco Polo and introduced on his return to Europe in the 13th and 14th centuries. Star-shaped, the fruit of the Badiane is gathered and sun-dried while still green which renders it red-brown. Well-known for its fragrance, Anise - Star is used in the preparation of many pastries, spice mixes, tisanes and liqueurs such as Anisette, Pastis, Ouzo and Sambuca. The essential oil is obtained from the distillation of the Anise - Star seeds.
