NOURISHING BUTTER FOR BABIES

Made with shea and cocoa, this butter will know how to nourish and coat your baby's skin with softness. Enriched with Calendula oil (macerate), it will soothe skin irritations.  

 

Materials List


 

  •  Two Blue Glass Jars 60 ml - White Lid
  •  A double-boiler sauce pan
  •  One teaspoon
  •  One tablespoon
  •  A measuring cup
  •  One bowl
  •  A whisk or blender  

 

Ingredients


 

  • 5 tsp (25ml) Shea Butter (nourishes and stimulates skin regeneration) 
  • 2.5 tsp (12.5ml) Cocoa Butter wafers (5 wafers) (nourishes and maintains the skin's moisture barrier)  
  • 50 ml Calendula care oil (macerate) (healing and anti-inflammatory)   

 

Preparation


 

  •  Melt Cocoa butter wafers and Shea butter in a double boiler sauce pan (microwave is not recommended). 
  •  When the butters have warmed up, add the Calendula care oil (macerate), mix well with a whisk or blender. 
  •  Pour into a glass jar. 
  •  Leave to cool in the refrigerator (about 30 minutes) to solidify the cream. 
  •  Put the equivalent of a hazelnut in the palm of your hand, warm up and massage your baby. 


Makes 2 jars of 60ml  

 

Precautions & recommendations


 

Store in a cool place away from light. 
By respecting good hygienic conditions during the preparation, this product will keep at least 3 months.
If the nourishing butter becomes liquid, homogenize and return to the fridge.
