ESSENTIAL OIL FLAVOURED YOGURT

Vanilla yogurt is good, but essential oil flavoured vanilla yogurt is even better! We tried and tested a selection of interessting flavours and we’re sharing our top three with our community: Sweet Orange, Lemon and Bourbon Geranium.

 

Materials List


 

  •  A spoon
  •  A bowl
  •  Measuring spoons & cups

Ingredients


 

Your choice of essential oil:

  •  Lemon
  •  Sweet Orange
  •  Geranium Bourbon
  •  1 cup (250 ml) of vanilla yogurt

 

 

Preparation


 

  •  Pour the yogurt into the bowl.
  •  Add the selected essential oil:
  • Lemon OR Sweet Orange: 8 to 10 drops, OR Geranium-Bourbon: 2 drops.
  •  Mix well.
  •  Serve with seasonal fresh fruit.

 

Precautions & recommendations


 

  •  Gives about 1 cup.
  •  Keep refrigerated.

 

It is important to know that some essential oils are not suitable for culinary use and should be avoided completely as they are neurotoxic if ingested orally.
